Let’s start with expectations…
-Expected Leon to bust out with a huge return then for Sanchez to march gang green down for an easy score, at least dazzle with another bomb to Clowney…
-Defense tostop the run with ease, clog up any holes, get at Flacco early and often, and easily ball hawk in the secondary…
Let’s take a look at what happened…
-Leon was electrifying and so was Leonhard must have been fun for him to go against his old team… Leon also lit it up in the running game and catching game… MVP of this offense thus far, most likely from here on out.
-The Franchez looked razzled early as the Ravens attacked early… enough at least to cause that interception on his first throw… He didn’t look calm and poised at all… The Ravens really picked on the rookie, I guess I forget our first game WAS against the Rams. He pulled it together and allowed the team to pull within enough reach for him to find Leon for their highlight TD.
-On to the defense, the much hyped Rex Ryan led defense… Bart Scott looked antsy and at times over zealous… we’ll let that slide, he was playing his former team. Safeties blitzed quite a bit and that was fun to see some pressure on Flacco, not enough from the D-line as far as pass rushing but we had some missing links that should fill that void… literally. Derek Mason lit us up, but then again Mr. Revis didn’t play… a bit disappointed in Sheppard and Lowery’s play… for fighting it out 2nd on the depth chart it was just an utter mess.

Point of my post: Not a great night, but something to look forward to… Knicks 2010?
